When Reinhard Selking started working
for International Harvester in 1940, he never
dreamed the International name would stay with
his family for over 70 years. Reiney performed
set-up and delivery of farm equipment for the
dealership, then located on 2nd Street in downtown
Decatur. In 1950, the business moved to 13th
Street in Decatur, and during this time period, Reiney
worked as a mechanic and parts salesman, advancing to
parts manager and eventually to a sales position.
February of 1965, Reiney bought out the shareholders
and Decatur Truck and Tractor became a family owned
and operated business. Then in January 1998,
Decatur Truck and Tractor purchased Lehman
International, a Navistar dealership in Muncie, IN,
and Selking International was formed. The same
year Selking International officially began, the
organization became a full lease and rental
June 2005, the purchase of Great Lakes
International’s Fort Wayne location on Goshen Road
